B-Square

Our first shared website: a database-free Next.js site on Sveltia CMS, built in two weeks, and the lessons it taught us about architecture, design and reaching an audience.

The short version

B-Square was the first website Omid and Amin built together and the first version of our brand. We shipped it in about two weeks on Next.js and Sveltia CMS (Git-based, no database), hosted it on the Vercel free plan, and got it indexed in Google. Amin used it to present his video-editing services. The site also showed us where our process was weak: coupling between front end and CMS, designing without a clear goal, and assuming a good site would find its own audience.
